Futures Fellowship WIP 

Design Challenge: How can I make my research and thinking around the theme of posthumanism accessible to the public? 

Duration: 12 weeks 

Project Overview: I am currently a Futures Fellow at  Design Futures Lab at California College of the Arts. The fellowship is used to highlight the future-oriented and critical aspects of my masters thesis, and to bring my thesis projects to a higher fidelity, with an eye to public audiences and markets. 

Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Meitu and Peachy photo editors, Spark AR 

    


This project is ongoing and in process. I am currently making instagram face filters using language derrived from my readings on posthumanism, glitch feminism and pop culture criticism. These filters will be published for public consumption as part of an upcoming exhibition at California College of the Arts.
